Kimchi Reader offers native mobile apps for the best experience on your phone or tablet.
Android
The Android app is available on the Google Play Store.
iOS
The iOS app is currently in beta on TestFlight. Grab the link on Discord .
Legacy: PWA Installation
The native apps provide a better experience with full YouTube support and more features. PWA installation is no longer recommended but remains available, just in case, for now.
Kimchi Reader can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your device. This removes the browser URL bar and gives you a more app-like experience.
On mobile:
- Android (Chrome): tap and select
Add to Home Screen - iOS (Safari): tap at the bottom and select
Add to Home Screen
On desktop:
- Look for the install icon in your browser's address bar, or use the browser menu to install the app
